JT 3D Solutions is operated by Sound Plus Show Systems Inc., an Ontario incorporated company. This Privacy Policy explains how JT 3D Solutions collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information, project information, uploaded files, photos, measurements, scan data, CAD files, and related communications
1. Information We Collect
JT 3D Solutions may collect information such as:
• Name
• Company name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Project location or service area
• Project descriptions
• Photos of parts, equipment, vehicles, tools, machinery, or objects
• Measurements, notes, drawings, sketches, CAD files, scan files, STL, STEP, OBJ, 3MF, DXF, PDF, ZIP files, or other project files
• Information needed to review, quote, schedule, complete, invoice, or support a project
We only collect information that is reasonably needed to review a project, communicate with the customer, prepare recommendations, provide a quote, complete approved work, and maintain project records.
2. How We Use Information
JT 3D Solutions may use submitted information to:
• Review project requests
• Understand the part, object, machine, vehicle, or problem
• Prepare recommendations or quotes
• Communicate with customers
• Provide 3D scanning, reverse engineering, CAD support, digital part documentation, functional 3D printing, prototyping, or related project services
• Schedule on-site work, pickup/drop-off, shipping, or follow-up
• Create project notes, scan records, CAD review files, documentation, invoices, and internal records
• Improve services, workflows, and customer support
JT 3D Solutions does not sell customer information.
3. Project Files, Photos, and Confidential Information
Many projects involve customer parts, machines, vehicles, prototypes, tooling, drawings, measurements, business processes, or other sensitive information.
JT 3D Solutions treats customer project files, photos, scan data, CAD files, measurements, drawings, project notes, and business information as confidential unless the customer gives written permission to share them.
JT 3D Solutions will not publicly share customer project photos, videos, CAD screenshots, scan images, files, company names, customer names, or project details for website, portfolio, social media, marketing, or educational use without customer permission.
4. NDA / Non-Disclosure Agreements
If a project involves sensitive parts, prototypes, inventions, tooling, business processes, confidential equipment, or proprietary information, a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement may be requested before project files are reviewed or work begins.
Customers who require an NDA should notify JT 3D Solutions before submitting confidential files or detailed project information.
5. Permission to Share Project Work
JT 3D Solutions may ask for separate written permission before sharing any customer project online or in marketing materials.
Customers may choose:
• No public sharing
• Anonymous sharing only, with no customer name, company name, or identifying details
• Full permission to share approved project photos, videos, scan images, CAD screenshots, completed results, or project descriptions
Permission to share project work must be given separately and is not automatically granted by submitting a project review request.
6. Sharing Information With Service Providers
JT 3D Solutions may use trusted third-party tools or service providers to operate the business, such as website hosting, email, cloud storage, invoicing, payment processing, CAD software, scanning software, file transfer tools, outsourced manufacturing, 3D printing, CAD support, or other project-related services.
Information is shared only when reasonably needed to operate the website, communicate, quote, complete a project, invoice, or deliver an approved service.
When outside support is required for CAD, 3D printing, manufacturing, design review, or specialty production, JT 3D Solutions will use reasonable care when sharing only the information needed for that work.
7. File Storage and Retention
JT 3D Solutions may keep project information, photos, files, scan data, CAD files, notes, quotes, and communication records for project history, customer support, future reference, repeat work, documentation, accounting, or legal/business recordkeeping.
Information will not be kept longer than reasonably necessary for business, project, accounting, or legal purposes.
Customers may request that files or personal information be deleted, subject to any legal, accounting, contractual, or project recordkeeping requirements.
8. Security
JT 3D Solutions uses reasonable steps to protect customer information and project files from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
No online system, email system, file transfer method, or cloud storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers should contact JT 3D Solutions before sending highly sensitive information so an appropriate file transfer or NDA process can be discussed.
9. Email and Marketing Communications
JT 3D Solutions may contact customers about submitted project requests, quotes, scheduling, invoices, project updates, or related service communication.
JT 3D Solutions will not add customers to marketing email lists without appropriate consent. If marketing emails are used in the future, customers will be provided with a way to unsubscribe.
10. Customer Rights and Requests
Customers may contact JT 3D Solutions to request access to their personal information, ask for corrections, request deletion where appropriate, or ask questions about how information is used.
